Nolte State Park and Kanasket-Palmer State Park
Saturday March 7
Start table open: 9:00am-10:30am

This walk consists of 2 loops. Register in Cumberland behind the Athletic Field and drive to each park.  A Discover Pass is required to park.  A 1 day pass is available for purchase in the park; that pass is good for both parks.

Loop 1 is in Nolte State Park. The walk will circle Deep Lake, a summertime haven for locals. (1B)
Loop 2 is in Kanasket-Palmer State Park. The trails explores the park. You will be walking along the Green River. (2B)

Registration for the walk is  from 9:00am-10:30am.  Stickers will be available at the start. MAPS AND DIRECTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED. THERE WILL BE NO TRAIL MARKINGS.


IVV Credit is $4. Donations to support these activities are appreciated as AVA charges clubs $2 per walker,

Driving to the start:

35431 Veazie Cumberland Rd SE, Enumclaw, WA From N/S on SR 169. Turn onto Lawson St (becomes Howard Franklin Rd, then Green River Gorge Rd and others) Continue on this Road to the end. Right on Veazie Cumberland Rd SE. Right on SE 354th St. Park along the road. We will be registering walkers at the corner of the athletic field. Restrooms available near parking lots in the State Parks.


This Event qualifies for the ESVA Special Program Discover Your State Parks.  Stamp for two parks if you do both loops!
