Group Walk at 9:30am

Hop on Light Rail and explore Old Bellevue, Bellevue’s waterfront and forest oasis, situated right next to its urban core! 

The walk starts at the East Main Light Rail Station, samples Old Main & downtown park before heading to Meydenbauer Bay Park.  The 5K route returns to East Main Station, while the 10K route continues on to explore residential neighborhoods and parks south of downtown.  5k rated 2B  10k rated 3B.

Registration for the walk is 9:00-9:10am. at Surrey Downs park for those who choose to drive.  At 9:10, the group will  walk to  East Main Station to register those arriving by Link from 9:15-9:30.  Stickers will be available at the start.  Group walk leaves from East Main Station when registration closes at 9:30 am.

Restrooms at Surrey Downs Park (10K), Downtown Park (1k) and Meydenbauer Bay Park (3k).

IVV Credit is $3. Donations to support these activities are appreciated as AVA charges clubs $2 per walker,

Starting Point: East Main Light Rail Station
This walk is designed to be accessed via Line 2 LINK light rail.  
 Line 2 stations with parking:

South Bellevue Park and Ride – (1500 spaces) 2516 Bellevue Way SE, Bellevue, WA 98004. Take the link (North) toward Redmond Tech station and debark at downtown station (1st stop)

Bel-Red Station – (300 spaces) 13102 NE Spring Blvd Bellevue, WA 98005. Take the link (South) toward South Bellevue. Debark at Downtown Station (4th stop)

Redmond Technology Station – (323 spaces) 3929 156th Avenue NE Redmond, WA 98052. Take the link (South) toward South Bellevue.  Debark at Downtown station (6th Stop)

To board, purchase your ticket at a kiosk (or tap your Orca card).  Select platform for your direction.

Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but are OK on the walk route if arriving otherwise.  Leash and clean-up laws apply.

Driving directions:  From 405 Southbound. Exit #12  SE 8th St. RIGHT at the end of the ramp on SE 8th St. RIGHT at the next light (112th AVE SE) LEFT on Main Street. LEFT on 110th AVE SE . LEFT on SE 2th ST RIGHT on 111th Ave SE, Left on SE 4th ST and proceed to parking.

From Northbound 405 Exit #12 following signs for SE 8th ST.  Left onto SE 8th ST to 112th AVE SE and turn LEFT on Main Street. LEFT on 110th AVE SE . LEFT on SE 2th ST RIGHT on 111th Ave SE, Left on SE 4th ST and proceed to parking.
