Group Walk at 10am

Experience attractive beaches, picnic areas, athletic fields and open space in Lake Sammamish State Park. The park is a hub for local recreation and has a commitment to ecological renewal projects.

Both 5k and 10k routes walk by Issaquah Creek & Sunset Beach. The 10k also goes by Tibbits Creek & Beach in the park, then leaves the park to walk through Costco Corporate Headquarters.   Some of the route is on mown grass; your feet may get damp if it has rained.  

Registration for the walk is  from 9am-10am.  Stickers will be available at the start. MAPS AND DIRECTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED. THERE WILL BE NO TRAIL MARKINGS.
Group walk leaves when registration closes at 10 am.

Restrooms at  start on the route.

IVV Credit is $4.    Donations to support these activities are appreciated as AVA charges clubs $2 per walker,

Lowe's Home Improvement, 1625 11th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027 From I 90E use second from right lane to take exit 15 for WA 900/17th Ave NW. Use second from left lane to turn left onto 17th AVE NW. In .2 mi, RIGHT onto 12th AVE NE. LEFT at Lake Drive (Stop sign) Right in 1st driveway. We will be on your left away from the store. From I 90W - Take exit 15. Turn right on 17th Ave NW, RIGHT onto 12th AVE NE. LEFT at Lake Drive (Stop sign) Right in 1st driveway. We will be on your left away from the store.

We will be registering walkers out of a car parked near the garden sheds in the parking lot.
