Event Info: The trail follows a generally north/south direction. Outdoor sculptures are located along the route and the Lake Washington waterfront is lined with well landscaped condominiums and parks, views of the Olympic Mountains and Seattle skyline. The downtown area is a charming mix of galleries, shops and eateries. Restrooms are available at the start/finish, Carillon Point, and various parks depending on the time of year This Kirkland walk was voted as 3rd Best Place in the Top Ten Year Round Events in 2011 as voted by volkssporters from all 50 states.
Start Point: La Quinta Inn, 10530 NE Northup Way, Kirkland, WA 98033 (425) 828-6585. Daily 1 January - 31 December, dawn to dusk. The Walk Start Box is located at the Service Counter.
Directions: From I-5 N or S, exit 168B to SR 520 E to Bellevue. Exit 520 at Lake Washington Blvd N (Rt. 908) to Kirkland. Right at light to Northup Way. Left at La Quinta Inn (approx. one block).
From I-405 N or S, exit to SR 520 W to Seattle. Exit 520 immediately. Right at bottom of exit onto 108 Ave. NE. Left at next light onto Northup Way. Right at La Quinta Inn (approx. two blocks) on right.
